Professional focus

Digital Health where clinical care meets information systems.

Areas of interest include healthcare interoperability, clinical decision support, terminology systems, data governance, digital health education and emerging health technologies.

About

Clinical experience with a systems view of healthcare.

My work sits at the intersection of medicine, technology and education. I bring a clinical background together with postgraduate training in biomedical and health informatics to examine how digital systems can support safer decisions, better information flow and more effective care.

I am particularly interested in the practical application of standards such as SNOMED CT, HL7 and FHIR, the design and evaluation of clinical information systems, and the development of digitally capable healthcare workforces.
